Everyone in Zambia is now well aware of the fact that Dr. Mahtani and Finance Bank are no longer associated with each other. Given the hostile nature of the conspirators, Dr. Mahtani was forced to detach himself with the prospering Finance Bank in 2016. Since then, the bank has been merged with BancABC, a part of Atlas Mara. Given the new merger, it has resulted into development of the largest commercial bank in Zambia.

However, the developments have not resulted in reduction of conspiracies. Zambia Reports, the Ventriglia family and Sakwiba Sikota have jointly contributed to numerous defamatory articles that has caused widespread confusion. The basic intent of the assault has always remained the same- defame Dr. Mahtani and Finance Bank. The reason associated with such action is mainly because of Portland Cement Zambia. The Ventriglia family are the minority shareholders of the factory and are constantly trying to steal the complete ownership. For this purpose, they have also placed a fake claim that Dr. Mahtani had stolen 58% stake of the factory by forging signatures. Sadly, when it comes to settling the matter in the Court the conspirators are nowhere to be seen.

Dr. Mahtani and Finance Bank were closely associated in the past. There were numerous development projects which were financed by Finance Bank of Zambia and every time a project flourished there were plenty of employment opportunities for the locals. But when the conspirators found that the chances of getting 100% stake at Portland Cement Zambia was getting thin, they decided to divert his attention by launching defaming articles in his name and the Finance Bank. Till date, conspirators often indulge in defaming Dr. Rajan Mahtani along with the Finance Bank. On the other hand, the Government of Zambia has continued to ignore the situation as some of the officials have a ‘good relation’ with the conspirators.
